  • Heat on low to medium heat. Never use the BOOST/POWER function on induction hobs. Medium heat will usually be sufficient due to the material's good heat storage properties. Do not heat for more than 3-5 minutes if the pan is empty.
  • Avoid metal utensils – choose wood, silicone or plastic instead.
  • The enamel is durable, but cannot withstand knocks and impacts.
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as pouring cold water into a hot pot, and allow the pot to cool before cleaning.
  • Not dishwasher safe. Wash with warm water and soap using a non-scratch brush or sponge. Dry thoroughly immediately and store the pot in a dry place. We do not recommend stacking the pot.
  • Can be used in the oven up to 290 degrees.

An iconic kitchen tool for a lifetime of culinary enjoyment

In collaboration with CARDENAU, we have launched a color that represents them, their approach to cooking, and their French roots. The result is a beautiful cast iron casserole in CARDENAU red, available in limited quantities. Cast iron casseroles have been the foundation of both private and professional kitchens for many decades. That is why we have developed an enameled cast iron casserole that combines tradition and function in a timeless kitchen classic. Create wonderful dining experiences with flavorful boeuf bourguignon, chicken danoise, or freshly baked, juicy casserole bread. This is the pot you place in the middle of the table when the family gathers—both now and for many years to come.

The thickness of the cast iron casserole provides the perfect balance between temperature control and heat retention. The cast iron retains heat, allowing you to create fantastic crusts while using less energy when your goulash needs to simmer for a long time. You can also use the heat retention to keep your food warm longer when serving. Use this versatile piece of kitchen equipment for frying, simmering, braising, baking, and steaming—without any risk of PFAS and heavy metals in your food, of course.

The right cast iron casserole is a once-in-a-lifetime purchase, which is why we have not compromised on production, materials, or design. Our casserole is produced by a French company that has been creating top-quality cast iron products since the 1920s. Here, each casserole is cast in an individual sand mold made from up to 80% recycled materials. The enamel coating is applied by hand by experienced experts to ensure the surface is as strong as possible. It is in the quality of the enamel that the difference between cast iron casseroles is most evident—not tomorrow, but many years from now, when the pot still delivers perfect results, time after time.

The craftsmanship is French, but the design is Danish and minimalist. The tight-fitting lid has condensation grooves and an ergonomic stainless steel handle that is easy to handle, even with oven mitts, when removing a piping hot casserole from the oven. It is an aesthetic addition to any kitchen that you will never tire of looking at. Enjoy a new addition to your kitchen with a history of craftsmanship behind it.
